Guen Sublette is an award-winning writer and editor. She worked for a number of years as a copy editor, and then staff writer for the international business publication, Entrepreneur magazine. She has also prepared corporate editorial materials for a national health care company (Cost Care Inc.), a national bank (Wells Fargo), and small-business clients.

She is the author of The Book of Days (The Berkley Publishing Group, 1996), a popular reference trade paperback, and Here's Lookin' at Lizzie (St. Martin's Press, 2003). She has contributed to the design, layout and editing for a school's Web site, and is the calendar editor for Colorado Parent magazine.

She received her B.A. in comparative literature from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and completed a term in international media and press (Ecole Française des Attachés de Presse; Paris, France).
