Welcome! We hope you’ll join us soon in convivial music-making.

Join Us!

The East Bay Recorder Society (EBRS) is an association of recorder enthusiasts in the San Francisco Bay area. Recorder players from beginning to advanced levels are invited to join, to play music together and to learn more about the recorder with a different professional conductor each month (September-May or June). Please go to our "Join Us!" page for our membership form. But if you wish to attend for a first time as a non-member, it is free (with a $10 charge for addtional monthly meetings thereafter until you join).

Our 2018/2019 season continues around into the new year with Jan. 6 (12th Night, Sunday, Hillside church) Shira Kammen. This is an afternoon playing session at Hillside Church in El Cerrito followed by a pot luck. Please go to our monthly page for more details.

Frances Feldon, Richard Geisler and Fred Palmer also contributed arrangements to the book.  The music comes from different cultural traditions and time periods, including Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque, American folk and spirituals, Celtic tunes.
