Our first workshop was held in the fall of 2007. Below are quotes from some of those workshop participants:

To take the time to really work intensely on a composition is a joy! Leonora Gillard Sleeter

A Baroque music day you can't miss with your local community. Eryn Mai

A unique opportunity to work in depth on a piece with help from several outstanding coaches! Jennie Mollica

A wonderful way to spend the day, experiencing new music, meeting new people and learning more about Baroque style. Marga Stone

At long last. A Baroque music workshop in Berkeley. Hurray! Karen Lassen

Our third workshop was held October 18, 2008

A limited number of pre-formed groups (ensembles) participated in our third coached Bay Area Baroque Workshop. The Coaches were Eileen Hadidian and David Morris (read more below). Harpsichords were provided for use by the harpsichordists.
The date for the fourth workshop has not yet been set.

Eileen Hadidian is a professional recorder and baroque flute player in the San Francisco Bay Area. She received her B.A. in Music from the American University of Beirut (Lebanon), and her M.A. and D.M.A. in Early Music from Stanford University, specializing in baroque and Renaissance performance practice. She has taught privately and coached ensembles for the past twenty-five years, including directing the Early Music Ensembles at Mills College. Click here to read more about Eileen.
David Morris has coached early music ensembles across the US for the past fifteen years.  He has been a faculty member at the SFEMS Baroque and Medieval/Renaissance Workshops, the Madison Early Music Festival, the Conclave of the Viola da Gamba Society, the Viols West Workshop at Cal Poly/San Luis Obispo and numerous other regional workshops. He is a member, among others, of Musica Pacifica. Click here to read more about David.
