Our
third workshop will be held
October 18, 2008
A limited number of pre-formed groups (ensembles) are invited to participate in our third coached Bay Area Baroque Workshop. The Coaches will be Eileen Hadidian and David Morris (read more below). The
workshop will be at Music Sources, 1000 The Alameda (at Marin Avenue), Berkeley. Harpsichords will be provided
for use by your harpsichordists. The cost is $280 per group (ncluding lunch), paid with the registration.
Day's
Schedule and Instructions: Please bring one or two pieces of music you wish for coaching, and have an extra copy of the score for the coaches. Each group will receive one coaching session from one coach in the morning and another session with the other coach in the afternoon.

Eileen Hadidian is a professional recorder and baroque flute player in the San Francisco Bay Area. She received her B.A. in Music from the American University of Beirut (Lebanon), and her M.A. and D.M.A. in Early Music from Stanford University, specializing in baroque and Renaissance performance practice. She has taught privately and coached ensembles for the past twenty-five years, including directing the Early Music Ensembles at Mills College. Click here to read more about Eileen.
David Morris has coached early music ensembles across the US for the past
fifteen years. He has been a faculty member at the SFEMS Baroque and
Medieval/Renaissance Workshops, the Madison Early Music Festival, the
Conclave of the Viola da Gamba Society, the Viols West Workshop at Cal
Poly/San Luis Obispo and numerous other regional workshops. He is a member, among others, of Musica Pacifica. Click here to read more about David.
